- Extension enabled/disabled status
- Redirect URL preference
- Daily reset time preference
- Dismiss-delay preference
- Session Data:
- Count of shorts viewed in the current day
- Date of last session reset
- Whether the daily limit has been reached
No External Transmission
- We do not collect any personal information
- We do not transmit any data to external servers
- We do not use analytics or tracking services
- We do not share data with third parties
- We do not access your YouTube account or viewing history beyond detecting Shorts URLs
Permissions
This extension requires the following permissions:
- Storage: To save your settings and session data locally
- Host Permissions (youtube.com): To detect when you're viewing YouTube Shorts and show the content scripts that do so

How It Works
- The extension monitors YouTube pages you visit
- When you navigate to a YouTube Shorts URL (
youtube.com/shorts/*), it detects this
- It increments a local counter stored on your device
- When your daily limit is reached, it shows a blocking dialog
- All counting and limit enforcement happens locally
Your Rights
- All data is stored locally on your device
- You can delete all extension data by uninstalling the extension
- You can reset your session count at any time through the options page
- You can disable the extension at any time
